Tony Davis, President The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa is looking to hire a Full-Time Server at our Lakewood Country Club to deliver exceptional service to our members! SUMMARY The server guides the guests through the dining experience, anticipating the guests every need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Maintain a POSITIVE attitude.
Attend menu classes daily.
Check assigned section to find out where station will be for the evening.
Check tables daily to make sure that everything is clean and free of smudges.
Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
Writes order on check.
Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
Remove anything that might have been soiled during the course of the meal.
Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Totals bill and accepts payment.
Ladles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as determined by establishment's size and practices.
Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
Be aware of busing trays, if they are full and the DRA's are busy, take tray to the kitchen.
Do all assigned sidework.
Report gratuities within company guidelines and federal law.
