Tony Davis, President ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Check guest in and out, help with guests needs, and other Front Desk functions.
Audits manually written or online data.
Examines interest and account payments, cash receipts, sales tickets, inventory and stock record sheets, and similar items to verify accuracy of recorded data.
Balances individual profit center codes.
Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment.
Computes percentages and totals and compares results with recorded entries.
Audit room and tax, to assure that room rates and market codes are correct and rates are uniform with current rate structure.
Post all room and tax to active guest.
Balance the hotel credit cards:
Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Golf.
Balance Front Desk cash to the preliminary reconciliation and Food & Beverage cash to the micros reports, and Golf Pro Shop cash to the CGS report.
Post all late charges and all guest check corrections to guest folios for 3:
00 AM check-outs.
Run all computer reports necessary to complete the daily revenue report.
Organize the front desk area by 6:
30 AM so that the AM front desk staff can properly prepare for their shift.
Accurately fill out the required Excel spreadsheets.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
